Focus in the 4MidwestJob’s is on regional jobs. Employers, recruiters, grouptraining companies, labor hire organizations will be able to promote sites throughout the region and job seekers can access vacancies from anywhere they have Internet access. A growing number of job seekers now use online facilities to seek job opportunities, but a facility that focuses on regional jobs has not existed until now. Job seekers can search jobs without registration or, if they choose to register for free they can upload their CV, get job alerts and let potential employers to contact them. Employers must be registered to view ads or contact job seekers and registration is very quick and easy. Employers can also display their company logo and have their company featured. The level of information displayed is entirely up to the employer, and they have control over how they want their vacancies applied for.
Jobs are displayed 24 hours a day usually for a period of one month depending on the application closing dates, as provided by the employer. As 4MidwestJobs is a non profit community organization they have been able to keep advertising costs to a minimum and are also able to provide organizations with regular vacancies to promote package rates to meet their needs. 4MidwestJobs are also able to assist job seekers with job applications, resumes and interview skills through their Workforce Development Center services and are also available through the Regional Resource Centre Network.
